The Nihilo Concepts Carbon Fiber Skid (Glide Plate) is hand-made and one of a kind made from 100% resin infused Carbon Fiber to be strong and light. Nihilo Glide plates are molded to the actual frame tubing so they fit perfectly. They basically become one with the frame and are very strong and rigid so they can withstand the abuse and harsh conditions of top level competition. Having a Glide Plate on the bottom of your frame eliminates catching dirt when in ruts and scrubbing jumps so momentum is not lost. All Nihilo skid plates are hand made in our Florida facility to exacting standards and personally fabricated and inspected by our in-house Composite Specialist to assure perfect fit and finish every time.
